New user interface for the famous VT 4002
First, on a small note: the stock sale on VT 4002 has ended, the stock has now been exhausted. The good news is, that the very popular Vötsch temperature test chamber, model VT 4002, has received a major upgrade.
Most users do not pay much attention to the embedded electronics in the equipment if it works as expected. In this case, the new controller is worth mentioning; since the new S!MPAC 230 has replaced the much hated "green push-button user-interface" with a nice graphical touch-panel interface.
Furthermore, the new S!MPAC 230 controller upgrades the old RS232 to a more modern Ethernet LAN interface, enabling the user to control and program the chamber over the company network, even via the Internet. A USB interface with recording function has also been added and finally, the ø25mm cable port whole has been replaced with a real ø50mm entry port incl. sealing plug for when it is not in use.
The VT 4002 is still a nice, small, fast and not the least; quiet temperature chamber. This popular chamber is capable of temperatures between -40°C and up to +130°C, at a rate of 4° to 5°C/min. The chamber is perfect for test of PCBs and smaller constructions. The chamber can be programmed to do alternating temperature profiles and can be controlled by an external PC. The dedicated software package S!MPATI is supplied free of charge in a limited version. Get the full leaflet in our brochure download section.
